I always have dry hands. It could have something to do with washing up three or four times a day. Or not wearing gloves while cleaning the oven. Or maybe rubbing a glob of stain remover in a banana splotch that has turned a white shirt a browny hue of black wasn't such a good idea.
The nice people at Aveeno must have a webcam hidden in my kitchen and sent me some products to try out: Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion, Aveeno Cream, and Aveeno Bath Powder.
When they arrived I eagerly read the label and I found out they are all based on colloidal oatmeal.
Excuse me? As in porridge? I read on, apparently oatmeal is "known for its soothing properties".
OK. Here goes. A big glop of the moisturising lotion, followed by the cream, and off to school pickup.
I was a bit disappointed that they were fragrance free (one of the pleasures of hand creams) but I've been assured that they do come in a nice lavender scent as well, and that's not the point. Did my hands still feel dry and rough?
An hour later and they were still soft, not like some creams which seem to evaporate a few minutes after being applied. Even the next morning they were still soft, a bit heavy ... but soft and soft is good.

Hmmmm... I think that this Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion is good for me. I wanna try that. Many of my friends are using it. Anyway, thanks for sharing. I'll be back for the update.
